They are always so good to us and our animals. They never seem to mind when somebody has some sort of canine or feline emergency! We know we can always count on them to work us in as quickly as possible, to be good with our babies, as well as the ever-worried human Mom and Dad. Love these folks.
We have been taking our pets to Audubon for 30+ years and have never had a bad experience. They are always friendly as well as professional. We just lost our 15 yr old yorkie, Holly and decided in cremation. When I dropped her off there was someone there at the time with a dog that looked just like Holly and I got emotional but the receptionist (sorry I’m having a senior moment trying to remember her name ) was so sweet and took me into the room and said such kind words! Then we received a sympathy card! Zoey has stayed at the kennel several times and we know she is well taken care of and don’t need to worry while we are gone. Opal has been the only one to groom my dogs and is awesome! The docs are friendly and top notch it is like family there! We have been going to Cherokee for more than 25 years. Dr Jim and his staff always take excellent care of our pets. Wehave five dogs, three cats and parakeets!
No matter how busy the clinic is, they always take time to give our pets special attention and care.
I had to make a hard decision regarding putting my 16 year old cat to sleep. I called Audubon Animal and spoke to receptionist about it. She was very understanding and she told me to call when I was ready. I called back 2 weeks later, they got me in that afternoon. Everyone was very supportive. I stayed with my cat and held her. I was able to just walk out when I was ready. Afterwards I received a sympathy card. I didn’t imagine that this process was going to be easy, but the staff made it smooth and I am grateful.
